Women’s hats are all one size and with a lot of stretch in the fabric this usually works for most. If your head is either large or small give me an email and I can recommend which styles might work better for you.
Kids Coat Sizing
Kids coats come in sizes 12-18m, 2T, 3T, 4T, 6 and for girls we’ve added a size 8. I recommend buying the coat a size bigger and put a little deeper cuff on the sleeve then pulling it down as the child grows. This way you can get 2-3 years out of it.
All our products are machine washable. Wash cold and tumble low and they come out great. I’m pretty lazy with my laundering but if you want to be delicate with it fluff it in the dryer and let it air-dry the rest of the way. For the hats with vintage buttons or intricate ribbon work I recommend turning the hat inside out or put it in a delicates bag so that it doesn’t get bashed about or snagged in the dryer. Oh yeah, don’t wash or dry it with a fuzzy towel or blanket, bad idea.
Pet hair tends to love fleece. It has a lot to do with static electricity that gives it clinging power. When you wash your fleece between the washer and dryer give it a good shake, the dampness of the fabric negates the static charge and a lot more of the hair will fall off. This and not letting it hit the floor is the best advice that I can give.
With fine, light hair sometimes static electricity builds up, moisture is the antidote for this. I cup my hands, breathe through my mouth into my hands and build up a little moisture on my hands then run it over my hair. I use this trick in my booth with fine haired girls and it works like magic. Give it a try.
